FAQs

So you’re a marketing consultant?

Sort of. I’m less focused on marketing activity and more focused on revenue. I help founders understand where their sales are actually coming from and make sure there’s a clear path from someone showing interest to becoming a customer. Marketing is part of it, but it’s really about building the systems that make growth more predictable.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

Mostly owner-operated businesses—local and regional service companies, usually somewhere between $500K-$5M in revenue. Places where marketing is happening but it’s a little informal, and the founder is still pretty involved in everything. That’s usually the sweet spot where I can make the most difference.

What does working with you look like?

It starts with a conversation about where your business is at, and where you want it to be—what’s working, what’s not, where things are breaking down. From there we build a plan that’s custom to your business needs. There won’t be a big strategy deck that sits on your desktop and never gets opened, just clear priorities and simple systems the business can actually run.

How are you different from a marketing agency?

Agencies are usually focused on execution—running ads, managing social, building campaigns. I help founders get clear on what they should actually be doing before they spend the money executing on it. And I stay pretty hands-on, you’re working with me directly, not getting handed off to a junior team.

What kind of results do clients typically see?

It varies, but the most common thing I hear is that growth starts feeling more intentional—less reactive, less scattered. Practically speaking, that usually means better conversion on the leads they’re already getting, more clarity on where to focus, and less wasted spend on things that weren’t getting results.

How much do you charge?

It depends on what the business actually needs. I don’t sell packages before understanding you situation, which is why I insist on starting with a quick call. It give me a sense of what would be useful. There’s never any obligation to move forward from that conversation.
